Starting July 22nd 2021!
HitTrax is a baseball game simulated in a batting cage with high-speed cameras capturing the realistic outcome of your batted ball. So, if you hit a double in the cage, the computer puts you on second base and keeps track of your stats. You play against a different team every week just like you would in a regular baseball season.
How it Works
HitTrax combines infrared camera hardware and an integrated software program to give baseball players feedback on hitting metrics and provide a real life in game experience. HitTrax measures pitch location, balls and strikes, pitch velocity, exit velocity, point of impact, and launch angle.
It then simulates a real-life outcome based on ball flight and how a real defense would react. HitTrax generates batting average, slugging percentage, distance traveled, hit/out, hit type, hard-hit average, extra base hits, line drive percentage, and many other relevant statistics.
Once you create a profile, your statistics are saved indefinitely so you can track trends and long term performance.
Two teams are pitted against each other just like a standard game. Hit Trax measures the results of your at bats and keep track of the score. This allows you to take meaningful at bats in competitive game conditions.
Because hittrax is played in an indoor batting cage environment, hittrax is weather resistant and can be played year round!
