Summer 2025 Champions Crowned Across All Divisions

The San Jose National Adult Baseball Association (SJNABA) closed out the Summer 2025 season with three thrilling championship runs. From high-powered lineups to ace pitching performances, each division delivered unforgettable baseball and crowned a deserving champion.

 

 

Division 1 Champions: The Topes (Back-to-Back)

 

The Topes defended their crown in dramatic fashion, going back-to-back as D1 Champions after a 10th-inning walk-off in the Finals.

Regular Season Highlights:

  • Zach Eddinger led the way at the plate (.405 AVG, .982 OPS), while Logan Azem (.333 AVG, .930 OPS) and Max McLellan (.349 AVG, 11 RBI) provided steady offense.

  • The pitching staff posted a stingy 2.21 ERA. DJ Sharabia was unhittable (18 IP, 0.00 ERA, 31 Ks), while Lucas Robinson (3–1, 2.68 ERA) and Scott Botterman (3–0, 2.25 ERA) kept opponents in check.

Postseason Heroes:

  • Jeff Ramirez (.409 AVG) and Matt Peterson (.467 AVG) sparked the lineup, with Barney Evans slugging .857 in clutch moments.

  • On the mound, Sharabia (7 IP, 15 Ks) and Andrew Preimesberger (11.1 IP, 0.79 ERA) were dominant.

The Topes’ resilience and pitching depth pushed them past the Giants in extras, cementing their place as one of SJNABA’s premier dynasties.

 

 

 

 

Division 2 Champions: Midtown Mariners

 

The Midtown Mariners stormed through Summer 2025 with one of the most complete seasons in D2 history, fueled by an explosive offense and a dominant ace.

Regular Season Dominance:

  • Team slash line: .337 AVG / .449 OBP / .880 OPS.

  • Brett Berghammer was the engine, hitting .551/.627/.796 at the plate while also going 10–1 with a 1.15 ERA and 101 Ks on the mound.

  • Alexander Scales (.477 AVG), Gabe Bauer (.400 AVG, 12 RBI), and Jack Mori (.360 AVG, .520 SLG) kept the offense relentless.

Postseason Brilliance:

  • Mariners hit .378 as a team in the playoffs.

  • Berghammer delivered again, batting .500 with 8 RBI and posting a 0.95 ERA in 38 innings.

  • Justin Dzoan (.524 AVG, 8 RBI), Scales (.476 AVG, 6 RBI), and Mori (.462 AVG, 4 RBI) powered an unstoppable lineup.

The Mariners left no doubt, showcasing balance, power, and postseason poise to claim the D2 crown.
