2025 Fall Midseason Check In
11/7/2025

We’re officially at the midpoint of the SJNABA Fall 2025 season, and if the first half is any indication, we’re in for a thrilling run to the playoffs starting December 6! With 30+ teams across three stacked divisions, this season has been packed with walk-offs, breakout stars, and tight division races.

Let’s break it down:

Division I

Sean Harrington, San Jose Rockies

The San Jose Rockies have been the class of Division I, storming out to a perfect 5-0 record behind an explosive offense and lights-out pitching. Dalen Lundberg-Sanchez (.579 AVG, 10 R, 11 H) and Vincent Augustine (.556 AVG, 10 H, 7 RBI) have been dominant forces at the plate.

Hot on their trail are the NorCal Muffins (4-1), powered by Kevin Kuang (.600 AVG, 14 R) and Daniel Esparza (7 H, 11 RBI).

The Campbell Blue Jays and San Jose Marlins Black sit at 2-3 and are both capable of making a late push.

Division II

Fernando Peña, Bay City Rays

Things are tight in Division II. The Bay City Rays Legacy (3-1-1), Alameda Goons (2-0-2), and San Jose Stealth (3-1) are neck and neck. Fernando Peña of the Rays (.667 AVG, 10 H, 8 R) and Brian Fryda (.500 AVG) are leading the charge, while the Goons have seen steady production from Thomas Goodman (.600 AVG) and Jordan Williams (3.000 OPS in 1 game!).

The Stealth are surging thanks to Elijah Aranda (.500 AVG, 8 H, 8 R) and a dangerous lineup featuring Andre Nodal and Justin Turnbull.

The Santa Clara Cardinals (3-2) and Bay Area Diamondbacks (2-3) remain firmly in the hunt.

Division III

Tri-Valley Spartans, Fall 2025

It’s a battle at the top as the Tri Valley Spartans and San Jose Orioles both sit at 4-1. The Spartans' balanced lineup is led by Dante Valdez-Smith (.333 AVG, 4 R) and Brett Austin (.400 AVG), while the Orioles boast one of the league’s most potent offenses: Bradley Collicott (.500 AVG, 9 R) and Ryan Watters (.667 AVG, 7 RBI) are putting on a clinic.

Tri Valley Spartans, Fall 2025 Also in the mix: North Valley Phillies (3-1-1), with standout Mason Murano (.412 AVG, 9 R), and Santa Clara Broncos (3-2), who are getting strong contributions from Mike Escobar (.500 AVG) and Billy Inserra (.308 AVG, 7 R).

Playoff eligibility reminder

To be eligible for the postseason, players must appear in at least half of their team's regular season games. No exceptions! With several weeks left, make sure you’re making those appearances count.

There’s still a full slate of action ahead, and with standings this close, every inning matters. Can the Rockies stay undefeated? Will the Stealth overtake Division II? Who wins the Division III dogfight? Buckle up for an exciting second half!
