FAQs

How much does it cost to play?

Each team independently runs its own cost structure to cover league fees, uniforms, equipment, and more. There is no set cost because each team is different. You can expect to pay between $300 - $500 for the summer season and between $200 - $400 for the fall season.

What kind of experience do I need?

Any experience is welcomed! Whether you’ve played Little League or professional, there are opportunities for you in SJ NABA.

Exclusively at SJ NABA, if tryout participants do not make a team, we invite you to sign up for our Adult Baseball Lessons. We nurture talent internally instead of outsourcing, ensuring training that aligns with our core values. Once you complete the baseball training program, you’re guaranteed to then be placed on a team.

What kind of baseball bats are allowed?

SJ NABA is an exclusive wood-bat-only league. Aluminum bats are strictly prohibited.

What days and times are the games?

Game days are on Sundays. Game times can range from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. New to the 2024 season, each team will play one Saturday night game during the season.

Where are the fields?

Teams can expect to play on fields in San Bruno, San Mateo, Palo Alto, San Jose, San Leandro, and Dublin. Final game locations can be found on the schedule once it is released.

How much are tryouts?

Tryouts are FREE!

If I missed tryouts, how do can I play for a team?
