About the Umpire Rating System

 

San Jose NABA is proud to support the absolute best umpires in all of the Bay Area. Their hard work, plus this Umpire Rating System (URS), is another way that San Jose NABA offers the very best baseball environment in the entire Bay Area.

 

After games, coaches are expected to rate their umpires. We believe that the implementation of this URS system gives coaches the opportunity to offer constructive feedback, improves the on-field relationship between coaches and umpires, and gives umpires valuable feedback to help improve. It also gives us the opportunity to reward excellent umpire performance with higher-profile events and games. This feedback is anonymous and is offered privately to the umpires.

 

 

3 Steps to Rate Umpires

 

1. From your Hometeamsonline Admin Dashboard go to > Schedule > Schedule & Results

 

 

 

2. You will see the last names of the umpires assigned to your game. Click on Scores

 

 

 

3. From the box score screen, click on the Rate Officials tab. Enter a star rating, feedback, comments, and suggestions. Click Save.
